Early bird heroes
Early bird entries opened on June 21 and FHF have hit the turbo button on their fundraising efforts for event beneficiary the Heart Foundation. Their team of 30 riders has already raised over $16,000 towards their fundraising goal of $20,000 for B2GC17! Check out their efforts on the Everyday Hero site.
Heart Foundation Queensland CEO, Stephen Vines, said the Heart Foundation was excited to once again be the event beneficiary for the Brisbane to Gold Coast Cycle Challenge, now in its 13th year.
“We are enormously honoured to have been a part of it for the last decade and thankful for all the riders who have also made the effort to fundraise or donate to the Heart Foundation,” he said.
Mr Vines hopes to see other CEOs swapping their suits for Lycra on October 15 and raising funds to fight Australia’s number one killer, heart disease.
