Heading away? Why not Hervey Bay!
One can’t think of a better place to ride than Hervey Bay. While still a renowned sea side town it is also home to Vernon State Forest. This provides locals & weekend travelers with a variety of mountain bike trails to try out & then go for a swim after.
The trails at Toogom have been specifically created in partnership with the local Fraser Coast Mountain Bike Club to meet national standards. The climbing trails are easy which makes this an excellent place to practice your descending skills. So next time you visit to see the Whales – pack your bike as well!
