Bicycle Queensland (BQ) in conjunction with the Brisbane Bicycle Touring Association (BBTA) have organised a free introductory bike packing/ tour where you can ride the iconic Northern Rivers Rail Trail from Crabbes Creek to Murwillumbah, fuel up for with a coffee or even more then head to Tyalgum for an overnight stay. Then return by the same route the next day.
You will need to organise your own campsite. There is camping at the Tyalgum showgrounds but for those who wish to lighten the load further there are other, but limited, accommodation options (e.g Tyalgum Hotel) available. You will need to organise and pay for your own accommodation.
The ride can be completed with a gravel, mountain, e-bike or hybrid bike. You will need to carry your own gear – including e-bike charger.
