Get Rocky at Rockhampton!

Just a 15 minute drive from the CBD you will find a trail network worth drooling over! With an array of trails suiting everyone from the cross country fanatics to those more prone to gravity enduro scene. One of Queensland’s best flow trails calls Rockhampton home – make sure to ride “Megatron” for some MEGA fun! You can expect a decent amount of climbing, however the switchbacks make it that bit easier. Please note there are a few black & double black diamond trails – these have unavoidable, steep and rocky features and are best ridden with protective gear.

For the best access, the main car park is found at the corner of German St and Sunset Dr, North Rockhampton.

Cape Pallarenda

Townsville – Under the Radar

If coastal views is more your thing then this is the ride for you. The Under the Radar trail along Cape Pallarenda is your gateway to a very special part of Townsville. A ride to pack your camera, allow 1.5 hours of riding this great trail. Please note that while the trail is fairly easy it does have rough surfaces & steep sections in some areas.

To get there head to Cape Pallarenda, there is a car park off Cape Pallarenda Road. Ride up the Shelley Cove trail, past the World War II forts. Single track starts on opposite side to the water.

Douglas MTB Park

Townsville will rock your socks off!

If you like picturesque views, single track and obstacles then this is the place for you! Explore the 40km trail network which sits just 15 minutes from the main town and enjoy building confidence on the obstacles and skills area. A great place to ride, made even better by the well signposted tracks – just watch out for the Kangaroos!

The main entrance to the Douglas Mountain Bike Reserve is on Angus Smith Drive. Please note that the Black & Double Black Diamond Trails are NOT to be attempted by beginners – ensure you have the skills to ride the trails accordingly. There are plenty of green & blue trails which are heaps of fun!

Davies Creek MTB Park

North QLD’s Hidden Gem

Not one to be missed, Davies Creek is nestled in between Cairns and Atherton and is a gem! Trails are geared towards the flowy & fast of us riders with no serious technical obstacles to overcome. Even better news, visit year round as it’s known as a very sunny place. Be sure to check out “Tank trail” which is just shy of 10km of the best riding!

Welcome to Cairn’s Iconic Riding Destination

Home to Australia’s first world championship venue nearly 20 years ago and most recently holding the 2017 World Mountain Bike and Trials Championships this is the place to ride in Cairns! Peddle among the rainforest & 60km of trails that twist through spectacular scenery. This is the place to test & build skills with many obstacles & the famous “Rockslide”.

Atherton Forest Tablelands

A Far North Adventure

Nestled amongst eucalypt forests and valleys, you can find a expansive network of purpose-built mountain bike single track. Take your pick from the 70km worth of trails and be sure to stop at one of the great lookouts where you will find hand-built stone chairs positioned to take advantage of the views. Mostly blue and green trails you will find some black alternative lines on some trails. Please be aware that some climbing trails are quite narrow.
